Lionel Demers is the founder and owner of St Joseph's Carpentry Ltd.  He grew up in rural Manitoba on his parent's dairy farm working in the family business.  Considering his constructive mindset, he was given the opportunity at a young age to be creative around the farm and be involved in larger building projects as the farm expanded.  This gave him many opportunities to work alongside other trades such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers, confirming his interest in the industry.

Lionel spent 10 years as a young adult working out of province on construction projects of various types, deepening his knowledge and skill in construction and finishing.  This provided him with the valuable knowledge and skill set which later contributed to his career as a renovator.  In 2007, he returned to Winnipeg with the confidence and experience acquired over the years to found St Joseph's Carpentry Ltd.  He has been working in the Winnipeg area ever since.

Lionel manages a small and personable contracting operation suitable for custom kitchen and bathroom projects.  He oversees every project with care from start to finish and is wholly committed to serving his clients.  Lionel is a proud Franco-Manitoban, living in St Boniface with his wife and three children.  In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors,  windsurfing and gardening.
